Year 5 – London trip

Year 5 Spent a great day touring some of the most important landmarks of London. They started at Trafalgar square and then had a quick look at Buckingham Palace, before travelling down Whitehall to see the Horse Guards and 10 Downing Street. They even got the chance to talk to the police officers guarding the Prime Minister’s house. They also took in Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament and saw great views from Westminster Bridge. They wondered at the huge size of the London Eye and had a picnic before visiting the Royal festival Hall and glimpsing the Shard and other London skyscrapers.

Year 5 - West Stow Saxon Village

Year 5 spend an interesting day at West Stow being history investigators. They explored the reconstructed Saxon village and found out all about Saxon artefacts, building techniques and what we can find out about how Anglo-Saxons lived  their daily lives 1500 years ago.
